Our People

Rachael Doherty

Research Consultant | CCH

I support the HOHM research office because I want to help raise the profile of homeopathy in the academic world.

Rachael began studying homeopathy after a career in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Foreign Service, but she first learned about homeopathy almost 20 years ago during a posting in West Africa.“Homeopathy changed my life and my entire way of looking at the world, and I knew that once I left government service I wanted to become a homeopath.  To me there is nothing more fulfilling than helping people to heal, and no tool that is more powerful than homeopathy.”

Rachael has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State (Go Bucks!) and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts. She lives with her husband, daughter, and cats in Reston, Virginia, and when she’s not doing homeopathy, she loves to hike the local trails, read good books, and eat good food.

She believes it is important to raise the profile of homeopathy in the academic world, so when an opportunity to get involved with the HOHM research office arose, she jumped on it. She started her journey as a Data Angel by volunteering in the research office and soon became a valuable asset to the team. Her passion for learning led her to take on other challenging projects, such as a pandemic case series and HOHM’s newest homeopathy and artificial intelligence project. Her dedication and hard work have made her a highly respected member of the team.
