The American Institute of Homeopathy (AIH), The Faculty of Homeopathy (the pre-eminent homeopathic organization in the U.K.), and the prestigious International Research Group on Very Low Dose and High Dilution Effects are the hosts of the first major homeopathy research conference in U.S. history on October 20-22, 2023. Titled “Groundbreaking Science: Homeopathy and the Future of Global Health,” the event will take place at UConn Health in Farmington. UConn Health is a major medical school and teaching hospital and a major sponsor of the event!
Our research office has been busy raising the bar in homeopathy research and has many publications in the works. Join Denise Straiges and Alastair Gray for a HOHM Research update. Thanks to our generous supporters, volunteers, practitioners, and researchers, we are building capacity in homeopathy research. With your help, we can track 25,000 cases over the next five years and show that homeopathy is safe and effective, has positive outcomes, and is cost-effective.
In this presentation for Faculty of Homeopathy, Alastair Gray will guide participants through the broad landscape of research in homeopathy. Alastair will explore why the emphasis on mechanism of action in homeopathy research, and clinical research, while interesting, has drawn the oxygen from the immediate needs to the profession - which is to contribute to urgent public health and health services research outcomes.
Thank you to everyone who came out to our first ever HOHM Research Insiders Update, where we shared the results of our latest homeopathy research publications and submissions...and most importantly, the results.
This free three-part webinar series invites you to go deeper into your study of homeopathy while raising funds to support the efforts of the HOHM Foundation and Homeopathy Help Network to offer accessible homeopathy care and produce quality homeopathy research that sets the stage for homeopathy in the world of tomorrow.
Alastair Gray, PhD presented Building Capacity in Homeopathic Research & Transforming Clinical Work into Meaningful Publications: Research Findings from the HOHM Foundation Office of Research and Homeopathy Help Network at the 2022 Online Conference of the American Institute of Homeopathy.
This preliminary study presents some potentially significant uptake, usage and attitude markers that stand to shed light on the practice of homeopathy and the place of emerging technologies such as repertory software. Ultimately, more research is needed to help identify and address the challenges, risks and tensions around integration of practice-enhancing technologies in CM educational and clinical settings to best serve the diverse and changing needs of practitioners.
